5 Must Visit Travel Spots Around the World

Jun, 17, 2012 by

I have a great travel guest post from David Marsha discussing the 5 must visit travel spots around the world. My favorite of these destinations would be the Galapagos Islands. I have a special fondness for turtles that rivals that of my love of frogs. Enjoy!

If you have spent 10+ years as a corporate officer in a bank where your daily routine is to get up, get dressed and sit on the same chair all day long doing all the number work, then I am sure this actually frustrates you sometime but this is all important for living and at the same time this all make life stuck, specially for one who love adventure and exploring the world.

To be honest I really don’t want to get out of this number life as this kind of fascinates me but this never over come my love for traveling and visiting new places anywhere around the world. Here are the 5 places I wanted to visit once in my lifetime.

5th:

Bali, Indonesia

great-travel destinations

Bali, Indonesia is a beautiful travel destination.

Call it green or the land of resorts but this is the place that must be experienced by anyone who love traveling and visiting around the world. Personally if you ask me I wanted to visit this place alone as I have a personal relationship with resorts and the color green. Bali is with no doubt the beauty of Asia and not just Indonesia.

Bali is pristine beaches, unspoiled rainforests, and the beautiful temples and structures of an ancient culture.

4th:

Venice, Italy

I could be comfortable staing awhile in Venice, Italy.

Just close your eyes and imagine Venice and the city with water all around and you will fall in love with it. If you are a newly married couple or planning a wedding this is the sure place to consider. Amazing canals, gorgeous architecture, and Renaissance-era statues make this city a dream to visit for tourists. Personally, I am not only a fan but in love with this city.

Venice allow you to experience the most romantic, classic and unforgettable place around the world.

3rd:

Galapagos Islands

Ecuador is the place that you cannot miss if you love nature and wildlife. Galapagos Islands are nearer to anyone who loves nature, wildlife and history. This is a common spot for scientists who are researching on related subjects.

Nature is nearer to me and the unique history of Galapagos Islands and above all the giant turtles and other sea animals stops me and make this spot one of my favorite spot to visit around the world.

2nd:

Dubai, UAE

Dubai, UAE would make for interesting travel.

I love adventures, beaches and party but at the same time I am a proper corporate guy. If you are the same as I am then you know why Dubai is called to be the place to live a 2nd home.  Great tall and corporate buildings and plazas that allow everyone in the city to walk like a boss.

If you want to know the best place to mix business with pleasure the Dubai is the ultimate place to visit. Many famous and eye catchy places are in Dubai that includes Palm Jumeirah, Dubai media city and more.

1st:

Alexandria, Egypt

I’d love to travel to Alexandria, Egypt for the rich history.

History, Business, Port and much more make this city perfect from every angle a common person can think of. Egypt is an ancient Arab city with the fantastic history of mummies. Its history and a seaport make it a best tourist spot around the world.

Egypt is rich with culture and tradition, astounding museums, and vibrant cuisine make Alexandria the perfect destination for those with an interest in Egyptian and Arab culture.

For anyone interested in traveling, there is no stopping point but above given are my personal top 5 favorite places around the world.

  1. For myself I would love to see Venice, Italy and/or Dubai, UAE.

Venice to me is the embodiment of the Renaissance. I would love to get to visit it for it’s rich culture and history.

Dubai has some of the most unique marvels in modern architectural history. The city stands out in the middle of a dessert region as a wonder by itself. I would love to see how it fairs in the middle of dessert.

      Dadblunders,
Those are some nice choices. Venice is the embodiment of the Renaissance, and I’d love to visit there and really every other amazing place in the world.

P.S. I went to comment on your blog, but your website appears to be down :(

  2. Thank you dadblunders for the comment! I am glad that you find the post interesting.

Dubai us indeed a place to visit once in a life time due to its amazing architecture that they have built over the years and made a desert in to a MEGA metropolitan city.

      David,
It is fascinating about Dubai. I watched a special on the Travel Channel, and it just blew my mind. Amazing what all that oil profit can do.

  3. The Galapagos Islands would be so cool. All the animals there would be really neat to see.

    • Amberr Meadows

Mary, I think so, too. I also want to see the seals along with the turtles and just the beauty of the islands themselves.

  4. thanks for visiting my blog following if you wanna follow back

      Veronica,

You are so lucky. Let me know if you fulfill your entire bucket list!

  6. I loved Dubai. I’m not sure Venice lived up to my expectations though. It was a little bit in the tacky side and I preferred Florence and Rome. I really want to visit the Galapagos islands but they’re just so expensive. I’ll be in Ecuador in August, so perhaps I’ll have a change of heart and decide it’s a once in a lifetime unmissable opportunity!
