WalMart and Dove Hair Working to Help You Achieve Lush Locks
Disclosure: I was invited by WalMart and Dove to promote their joint initiative to help you achieve great hair. My opinions are unbiased and completely my own. I received compensation for my time.
My hair has always been super straight, and although it’s fine, it’s also thick and difficult to manage (a strange combination, I know). I love my red hair color, but it’s the quickest fading color of all. Sometimes I’d love to have a head of crazy, red, beautiful curls, but within an hour after using curlers or the curling iron, it’s down to only a faint hint of waviness. By the second hour, it’s straight as before I fixed it, and I’m left frustrated. The only thing that has ever remotely worked in the past is using massive amounts of hair mousse and hairspray, but I’ve reached a point to where my go-to hairstyle is a ponytail or bun, or a head scarf on “bad hair days”.
There might be light at the end of the tunnel, however. Walmart has partnered up with Dove hair products to help me, you, and everyone else achieve fantastic, glamorous hair. They provide tips and tricks on how to get curls without a curling iron, how to finesse longer lasting hair color (if you dye your hair, of course), what to do with frizzies and flyaway hair, and much more. View this video on the WalMart website, and you’ll receive a coupon for $1.50 off Dove hair products to try out the products yourself!
